Teresa and Ian arrive

We began the day with coffee in bed and this is a tradition I could easily adapt to. Then off to Brighton's marina which was made on land reclaimed from the sea. It is an economically designed shopping centre/marina with apartments that Teresa and I could both see ourselves living happily in. Neat little shops and and cafes overlooking the harbour. Nice place for a cappuccino! Ian and Teresa arrived safely and Teresa was well rested after having travelled first class having champagne, real silverware, her choice of meals and a sleeping pod. Ian was less well rested after having sacrificed his seat for Teresa where he had mushy pasta and his tv did not work. But he was still in a good mood and Teresa was very content! Jackie dropped by, then Paul and Lisa and the girls. It was lovely to see them and we had good laughs. Jackie picked up the boys; the cousins all play together so well! We have a wonderful family in England! Brian took us for a walk before supper to the country (conveniently only 3 blocks away). We saw horses riding down the lane, equestrian jumping lessons, sheep grazing, brilliant pheasants flying, and picked a few blackberries to snack on. In one direction the chalky white sea cliffs were visible and in the other direction, quaint farmhouses and pastoral scenes. I had forgotten how beautiful East Sussex was. Keira called for Teresa and it's seems she is a tad nervous with the wedding only two days away. She calls it a "bubbley tummy", an apt expression. Nice relaxing day, especially for Teresa.
